Terms and conditions for schools

Confirmation of session(s)

We consider any booking made by a school representative over the phone or by email as confirmed unless you request a provisional booking. Please make sure you confirm your provisional booking as soon as possible, or risk losing the slot.

We email your booking confirmation, this includes important information for the session.

Payment

We post or email the invoice for your session after our visit. It will include full payment instructions. You have 30 days from the date of the invoice to pay.

If you require the invoice in advance please call 020 7739 9893 or email bookings@museumofthehome.org.uk.

If we do not receive payment within 30 days, we cannot book or carry out any more sessions for your school until you pay the balance.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your session please email bookings@museumofthehome.org.uk.

If you give us more than 4 weeks notice there will be no charge. For 2 to 4 weeks notice we will charge 50% of the cost and for less than 2 weeks notice we will require full payment.


The Museum of the Home reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the booking due to unforeseen circumstances. We make every effort to minimise disruption to your booking and, if necessary, we will offer a refund. The Museum of the Home does not accept liability for any other additional costs you may incur.
