Curator tours - Rooms Through Time: 1878-2049
As part of the Open House Festival, join Curator Louis Platman for a guided tour of the Museum’s brand-new immersive period rooms, exploring migration, homemaking, belonging and more.
Walking through three centuries of domestic history and into the home of the future, the tour will provide a behind-the-scenes look at how our seven newest rooms were created, and examine the ever-changing relationship between domestic life and the homes we live in.
For the first time at the Museum, these rooms welcome visitors to step into the rooms for an interactive journey into the lives and stories of people who have enriched the fabric of London over the past two centuries.
