Support the Museum
We want as many people as possible to enjoy our free exhibitions, galleries, Rooms Through Time, gardens, and shop.
We are also part of a community we love and want to support. We are a registered Warm Bank, and from January 2023, we have run drop-in Free Tea Fridays to give those who need a safe and warm place to meet other people. We host Hackney Foodbank on Mondays at the Museum.
Your donation could make all the difference. With costs rising and being a free Museum, any gift you can make to sustain what we do will be appreciated.
Real Rooms
Introducing a far more diverse array of narratives to our Rooms Through Time, working with our visitors and communities to understand what the rooms could look like if we were to rethink who they are about.
Discovery Garden
Working with children, teachers and families from two local primary schools to co-develop a new Discovery Garden, creating access to child-friendly green spaces.
Food Equality
The focus of our five-year Campaign for Change, supporting Londoners of all ages to access good food at home and reduce food insecurity.
